Terms of use
Effective from 27 September 2026
1. The service
Tilira (https://tilira.eu) is an application for keeping beekeeping records: apiaries, hives, inspections, treatments and reminders, with printable forms. It is provided by Tomislav Sismanovic (the provider). The service is currently free and under development. By opening an account you accept these terms. The Croatian version is authoritative.
2. Your account
- Give accurate details and a working email address when you register.
- Keep your password safe; you are responsible for what is done with your account. We recommend turning on two-factor login.
- You can delete your account at any time in your profile.
- The service is not intended for people under 16.
3. Your data
The data you enter remains yours. You allow the provider to store and process it only as needed to provide the service. You can export it at any time (Download my data). How we handle personal data is described in the privacy policy.
4. Forms, withdrawal periods and advice
Tilira is an aid. The printable forms (treatment record, annual colony count, apiary sign), medicine lists, withdrawal period calculations, varroa limits, country rules and reminders are there to help and do not replace the law, the medicine leaflet or a veterinarian's advice. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter, for checking forms before you submit them, for observing withdrawal periods and deadlines, and for keeping records as long as the law requires.
5. Acceptable use
You must not:
- try to access other users' accounts or data;
- disrupt the service, get around its protections or overload the server (for example with automated requests or bulk downloads of map tiles);
- enter unlawful content, or other people's personal data without a legal basis.
The provider may restrict or close an account that breaks these terms; we will tell you, unless urgent action is needed to prevent harm.
6. Availability
We aim to keep the service running and make regular backups, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that the service is free of errors. Features may change, and short interruptions for maintenance are possible. We recommend exporting or printing important records from time to time. If the service is discontinued, we will tell you at least 30 days in advance so you can export your data.
7. Liability
The service is provided free of charge and "as is". The provider is not liable for damage caused by inaccurate data you entered, by relying on forms and calculations without checking them, or by temporary unavailability of the service. This limitation does not apply to damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, to injury to life, body or health, or where the law does not allow liability to be limited.
8. Changes to the terms
We will tell you about material changes by email or in the application at least 15 days before they take effect. If you do not agree, you can delete your account; continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept them.
9. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Croatia. We will first try to settle any dispute by agreement; the competent court at the provider's seat has jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, including the right to go to court there.
